Orion and Sipco Launch National Marketing Campaign Offering Mobile Entertainment Content
First national mass media marketing campaign to offer a complete ecosystem of top quality mobile entertainment content directly to consumers' mobile phones by a third party
Miami, FL - November 18, 2004 -
Orion Information Services and Sipco Interactive LLC announced their launch of the first national mass media
campaign to offer a wide range of top quality mobile entertainment content directly to end consumers using
premium text messaging. Previously, mobile entertainment content was only available through wireless carriers.
This is the first national campaign offering direct, convenient access to this sort of content through a third
party using text messaging.
Orion's Content Aggregation Division is charged with implementing the fulfillment of this launch. At the moment,
Orion has licensing agreements in place with image, video, music publishing houses, and games developers such
as Warner/Chappell, Sony/ATV, EMI, Video Mix, Interactive Television Entertainment, Mobibase©, and
TrafficCast.
Sipco has initially earmarked $5 million for marketing campaigns over the coming year and, quite likely, will
increase that investment. Sipco will advertise in Rolling Stones, US Weekly, Ocean Drive and Ocean Drive
Espanol as well as other print, TV, and radio channels. This marketing program will start immediately with
the first advertisement appearing in the Rolling Stones Magazine and US Weekly tomorrow. The massive scale
of this marketing program together with the broad range of mobile entertainment content and the industrial
strength technical facilities to deliver that content differentiates this initiative from all similar
initiatives in the US to date.
This advertising program will position Sipco's properties as national brands and Sipco as a primary player
in the mobile entertainment content field. In this launch, Sipco will create the '2TXTU' brand.
Consumers can explore the content available for download at www.2TXTU.com. The same code will be used for
premium text messaging: to browse the most popular content available, consumers will send the code "top"
to FUN49 (38649) available on the main US carriers.

offering a wide range of content available across all major wireless carriers including AT&T Wireless,
Cingular, T-Mobile and Verizon. We will create brands in the consumer marketplace that will be recognized as
household names - starting with '2TEXTU.' Says Sipco's President Jose Manuel Tost.
The service will offer another interesting twist: Whereas in the past, users who wanted to download a ring
tone or other property had to identify it precisely, Sipco will allow consumers far greater ease of use.
An end user can identify a genre such as hip hop, country, or rock. Sipco will then present a list of the
top ten ring tones or images in that genre, allow the user to select one from the list, and then download
it to the consumer's mobile device.
